Artist's Comments
This is something I did back in 2006 in Flash for a man that wanted something for his site. I did this some time ago. I was animated but that file is on a computer up in St. Louis. All I have here is a .jepg file now. So I will scrap this, but I did want to post it for my portfolio. The flag moved like it was blowing in the wind.
He was from Lebanon and a very nice person. I felt bad for the things that were going on over there. I have a few friends there. So I did this for free for him *^_^* He really wanting the white flag and a red hand print on it. The text is a battle cry and means: Dovie'andi se tovya sagain. - It's time to toss the dice. He didn't want the ' in it and I am not sure why. I take it he was not familiar with the old tongue or he was not using it in the rest of his page lay out.  May I ask what language that is?
-- In space, no one can hear you squeem. I think it is an ancient dead language. Maybe language of the Fourth Age, the Ogian Language and the Trolloc Language. I am really not sure. I may I have to look it up again : /

Come Fight My Brute: [link]  Woah, this may be totally unrelated, but this sounds like the "old tongue" from the WoT series! Plus, it looks like the "Band of the Red Hands" banner! How crazy! Sorry, randomness! Anyway, I am very curious now though as to what it's from. It looks really great. I love the added wrinkle and tear in it. Like it's hanging on proudly in the midst of war. Great design!

 Red hand reminds me of Wilson in the movie, "Castaway".... "WILSON!!!!" -- "What do you think the artist thinks about? Do they think about fine wines or black tie affairs?  I hope to see the animated one once you get it back ^^ But where'd you get that text from?
