Artist's Comments

I wanted to try something different. I used more of a painted look to this one. I really like to see digtial paintings where you can see the brush stokes in most of the painting. This is my first Asian I have painted.

I really didn't use much to look at with this one. I wanted to keep it simple...but I did alot more then I was planing.

I am still having problems with the clothes. :sigh: I used a few brushes for the tattoo. I can't remebemer where they where from.

When I first saw this, I thought it had to be a high-res photo of an actual painting. I was genuinely surprised when I saw that it was done in PS - nice work!

Her clothes are fine, and her tattoo is nice too. I only saw one thing I would've done differently. I noticed some small spots on her left shoulder's skin. I'm assuming they're supposed to just be little skin blemishes, but they look like mistakes. Next time, I'd either make them more obvious or leave them out altogether.

I love the way the red background looks with her red kimono and the shine in her hair. It makes the picture look passionate.

Sorry for all the :blahblah:. I'll go back to browsing now :p

I like the Softness, and texture behind it. You are doing better than I think one would expect, for simply trying something new.

Great job. Love the expressive eyes. A certain lucidity to them.
