A little thing you may not know about me:

I just wanted to know if others have this problem.
Let me start off that I can see peoples faces around me just fine and clear. However, if I walk away even if I know their face very well and try to remember or tell someone what they look like, I can't. I can not even draw a friend, family or someone famous without having them there to look at. It kind of freaks me out at the fact I am an artist and I can't do this. I can draw animals and other things with out looking the whole time at it, just not a human face.

It is not even just little things but I can't see their eyes, shape of the mouth, size if the nose and even can't remember hair on the head or face. I lived with my Grandpa for 17 years and I can't tell you want he looked like without a photo.

I always think if I see a crime and they have an artist there for me to explain what the person looked like...I would have no clue what to say and even if they showed me a rough drawing of the bad person I could not be sure if it was even close. I hope I am never the person they need to sovle the crime ROFL

Now, if I draw a person I will never forget the little things and can redraw them over and over as long as it is the same veiw of the face.

This is a little strange because I LOVE to draw people and think maybe that someday this will help me. I am not really sure what it is call what I have, if it even has a name. I know it is not really face-bline because I see faces just fine. It just will not stay in my head after I am no longer looking. Crazy thing is that when I am talking to people and can hear everything they say but the whole time I am drawing them in my head. Seeing how the tones on their face blend and how the outlines of their lips and nose ( I love a good nose ) I do this all the time with anything and people are the best. I love to draw with my mind.

Does anyone have the same problem or anything like this?
